Every October since 2008, Pete Johnson has released a special blend in a unique box celebrating famous movie monsters. Although the specialty series was supposed to come to an end in 2019, Pete is back at it again with The Karloff in a 6.6"x49 vitola. A salute to the iconic film actor, Boris Karloff, it appears that Tatuaje is now saluting the best of the silver screen who cemented their fame within the horror genre.
Utilizing an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and long-filler blend, The Karloff comes with a closed foot. Fans of the Monster Series may recognize this premium as having the same tobaccos as the Tatuaje Boris and Little Boris, but the blend has been tweaked to be a bit fuller-bodied for 2020. With 4,000 dress boxes of 13 cigars each having been made for Halloween, CIGAR.com has received a special allocation that will be available while supplies last. Now with a medium-to-full body, The Karloff is rich with notes of cocoa, leather, black pepper, caramel, and dried fruit.
