Cannabis compound CBG may fight infections! A Study Finds article highlights a research team from McMaster University in Canada shows that CBG is proving effective in mice to help fight off resilient families of bacteria, by Craig T Lee.  The study examined 18 commercially available cannabinoids, which all have antibiotic properties, and CBG was the one they focused on. Study lead author Eric Brown reported, "the findings suggest real therapeutic potential for cannabinoids as antibiotics." Read Article Johns Hopkins University launches clinical trial for psilocybin mushrooms The Johns Hopkins News-Letter points out that the Hopkins Center for Psychedelic and Consciousness Research is partnering with a psychedelic research nonprofit to perform a new research study outside of the laboratory environment. "The study aims to attract people who intend to use psilocybin mushrooms in the next six months. They will complete five surveys at varying periods before and after their usage."
